A few guinnesses later we headed back to watch Jackass Number Two. I thought it was good but like the first Jackass film I just thought of it as a longer tv episode. I just don't see why it has to be a movie at the cinema except to give the boys some extra cash. If you're board, drunk/etc and there's nothing else you want to watch at the cinema then give it a go.

So we all decided to do the pub/movie crawl which involves starting in a few pubs, then watch movies all day with trips to different pubs inbetween. I was born a little late in life to of enjoyed the Rocky saga when it first hit the streets. I've always heard the Rocky related jokes and comments but they never really made much sense to me having not seen any of the movies. All that recently changed with the release of Rocky Balboa the 6th and final Rocky movie. I'd just got back from a hard days sparring and was crashing out on the sofa with dinner when I saw that Rocky was just about to start on Sky Movies. Then I realised it was a Rocky marathon with 1-5 being shown back to back. My options for the evening where work and get that almost late project completed or watch the Rocky marathon. I bought one of these a few months ago as I had just moved house and needed a new way to watch video off the server on the TV/Projector downstairs. At my old place it was in the next room so I just ran a pair of long s-video and audio cables across. Because I wanted the server upstairs in the new place this posed a bit of a problem due to the layout of the rooms. At the time I was tinkering with using a wireless network so when I read about the D-Link Medialounge device I got quite excited.

This is a fast paced French horror film. It was shown a while ago on Film4 with english subtitles. The plot outline is that two college friends visit one of their parents farms just prior to a long and gruesome killing spree. There isn't really a huge dialogue so you're not stuck reading pages of subtitles and the story flows along quickly from scene to scene. There are a few plot inconsistancies and alot of the time you're left frantically thinking "She's not seriously going to do that!?". Well worth the watch if you see it coming to a channel near you or you're doing one of those 3 for the price of 2 DVD rental deals.
