Flash scripting language. Flash MX supports ActionScript 1 whilst Flash MX 2004 and Flash 8 support both v1 and v2.

If your using Crimson Editor you can download ActionScript syntax and context help files from the Cromson sites “Syntax” page. Just tick the name box and enter ActionScript as the search phrase. Theres about 5 files there altogether.
