BigCommerce & Integromat
I was the lead developer on a large multi-storefront BigCommerce solution for a customer who sells digital merchandise. We used BigCommerce to centralise their backend store functionality and created multiple storefronts to target different countries. They shared the same theme and product data although store each had custom content and promotions which were configured by regional managers.
They had an extensive pre-existing API to interface with user accounts and products which they wanted the new site to integrate with using a cloud-based solution. Integromat was chosen as it covered all the client’s requirements at a price they were happy with. That provided a web UI for drag and drop linking various logic blocks together. Some covered the basic operations like variable management, looping and conditionals while others supported more advanced behavior such as securely connecting to the API and parsing the results.
It was a fun project to work on and really interesting to use Integromat, plus the design looked really cool!
