Web Presentations

I worked on several one-shot campaign websites for Lynx which was a lot of fun as each one was unique and required different skills. I would usually start with the HTML5 Boilerplate and then use CSS3, HTML5 and jQuery along with whatever else would be required for the site’s special functionality.

On the “Smile” project, we asked users to activate their webcams and smile for a photo. I used face-api.js to detect the smile and to nudge them if they were not smiling! 😅 The photos were uploaded to the server and shown in an infinite scroll gallery of happy smiling people.

The “I Choose Health” project was created to promote and extend the podcast series of the same name. The aim was to provide encouragement and support to people during the Covid lockdown. The site was mobile responsive with a static header and footer framework placed over the top of a Slick Slider content collection.

I also worked on the Havas Lynx WordPress site which was neat because of the prestige but also because it had so much going on. The site was under constant evolution as it was important for the agency to keep everything fresh and up to date.
